Hey everyone! So here is my final email for the day :) hope you could maybe end out your afternoon with a little smile. :) So Elder Neilson came and talked to us! He is super cool and it was just amazing how strong all of his words were. When he spoke you could just feel that everything he spoke was true. But I think my favorite part of the devotional would actually have to be the talk his wife gave. She talked about Gift Cards. It was an interesting analogy but it really hit home for me. She talked about how when we are baptised and recieve the holy ghost our savior basically gives us an unlimited amount of gift cards to use how ever we want. We can choose to spend them when we are having a rough time and need the comforter, or when we pray for peace, or for guidance. Or we can let them sit for years and years and never use them. If we do this they are simply a card sitting on the shelf with no use. But since they have no limit we should use them everyday of our lives. There is no max on the gift cards givin to us by our savior so this Christmas remember that whenever we need anything we can always pray to recieve it. Whether that be peace, saftey, love, guidance, humility, strength, or anything else we can pray to receive it through Christ. There is no limit to what can be done through Christ or the Holy Ghost so go to him every moment of every day and have his light shine through your eye and I promise your life will grow in a ways you never could imagine! I love you all so very very much and I wish you a very Merry Christmas!
Love your Brother and Son,
Elder
