Prep to leave MTC

Hey everyone! :) So this week has been crazy as ever! :) The MTC is filling up like crazy and it is so cool to see the big influx in missionaries! This is truly a marvelous work and a wonder and I am so grateful to be a part of it! :) We have been very busy this past week learning tons of 한국말, as well as making sure all necessary things are in place for us to fly out in 11 days!!!:) WOOT WOOT I am so excited I can't wait to get to Korea and serve! :) It is so cool to see how everything is falling into place and that we are actually preparing to go, I don't know if it has really hit me yet but I am going to KOREA!!!:) hahaha. Anyways how is everything back at home! I hear Spencer won his science fair! That a way brother!!!:) You'll have to take several pictures and explain how it works so I can experience it with you all :) It sounds very cool! So how is everything else back on the home-front? I'm sure they are crazy busy :) Keep up the great work everyone, you're all amazing and I am so proud of everything you do! :)

So I am starting to see more and more familiar faces here at the MTC! It is so cool to see so many people I know coming together to serve our Father in Heaven and share this wonderful message of hope and joy to the world! :)

The excitement and spirit felt here at the MTC is so very cool! Every day I am reminded just how much our heavenly father cares about each and everyone of us individually! :) It is so cool to see his hand in this work. There is no doubt in my mind that our Heavenly Father loves each of us and wants to do everything he can to both help us and lead us back to return to him. This past week I had the wonderful opportunity to hear a talk by Elder Ballard entitled, "Characters of Christ." The talk was so powerful and amazing! :) It has definitely brought me to a whole new level of understanding of how much 예수 그리스도 (Jesus Christ) loves each of us. It is truly a love that can be felt by all those who are struggling. I know he has felt each of our pains and he is with us through every challenge we may face. If we will turn to him for comfort and peace I know we will be able to feel it and he will help us. I am so grateful to know that through every step of my life there will be someone who is there to help me who knows exactly what it is that I am going through and exactly what I need to get through it. Sometimes I know it can be hard to put all your trust in something; however I know that we can trust Christ with all our hearts and he will never lead us astray.
Another thing to remember that Christ has blessed us with is, while in this life we have the opportunity to not only receive answers to prayers; but to also be answers to prayers. Look for opportunities to reach outward and become focused on someone else and I know God will send someone to help you. You will find joy beyond measure as you reach out and invite others to come to the hope and joy that you yourself have found. And you will also find joy in the little acts you do everyday in service to those whom you are around. You will feel Christ's love more abundantly in your life because we know that when we are in the service of our fellow man we are in the service of our God. Every chance we find to serve others is a chance to serve our Savior and God and to help them bring hope and love into this world.
I know that although the world often seems really dark and dreary, and we often feel as though we are in our very own midst of darkness. However we don't have to go far...if we will reach inward and find the charity of Christ we will become the very light we have been searching for. Our heavenly father is mindful of each and everyone of us and I have felt it so much as I have been here serving him. I know that he has been here with me every step through this process of both learning of his beloved son and learning Korean. And I have felt the power of the Holy Ghost so strong as he has taught me and strengthened me. Constantly be on your knees looking for opportunities to serve and help others and I then ask to find answers you need. I promise that as you do this and as you serve those around you, you will find the answers you have been looking for. You will also feel constant comfort, peace, and joy. I know this because I have felt it in my own life and I know that this is real. This gospel has truly brought hope, love, and peace to my life. I know that as we serve others we will receive the answers we need and more opportunities to reach out and help others. 예수그리스도의 복음을 Jesus Christ's Gospel is our guide and help through life and as we turn to it and to our Heavenly Father I know we will be able to know what we must do in order to return to live with our Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for the blessing this gospel has been in my life and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to share it with others. Look for opportunities to share it with others in your own lives and feel your own light grow as you strengthen the light in those around you! :)
I love you all so much!

Korean Elders & Pics

Here is Tyler's latest... FYI - {Translation of the Korean used} :)

Hey everyone! It is another wonderful day at the MTC :) how is everything going back at home? I hope all is going well! I love the pictures and letters I keep receiving they always make me smile!
Heavenly Father has definitely blessed me! So as far as a weekly update this week has been just as crazy as ever. Only 3 more weeks until I head to KOREA!!!!:) WOOT WOOT! :) haha I've been cramming trying to learn as much Korean as I possibly can! I'm learning about 40단어 {vocabulary words}  a day! :) And it was really cool cuz yesterday the 한국 장로님들 {Korean Elders} arrived and I have totally been able to communicate with them and translate for them :) It is amazing what someone can do with the power of the holy ghost! :) it has been truly humbling. Half the words I say I swear I don't know until I say them but they all just come out :) 하나님 {God} has definitely blessed me and I am so very grateful!

We have been teaching our "구도자들" {investigators} and committed them both to baptism this week! :) That was a super cool experience. It is so cool to see how strong the spirit can manifest itself even when you are just going through role play situations!
The spirit has definitely proven to be a huge strength in my life these past few weeks. I know I wouldn't be at the point I am at with out the help from our Heavenly Father. I know he loves all so very much and he wants to help us grow and become more like him and overcome the challenges we have in our lives. I know that through him all things are possible and that if we will turn to him with faith he will help us accomplish all things we need to accomplish. I have been working as hard as I possibly can and at a lot of times I am surprised by how much the Lord blesses me. I am learning so much and Heavenly Father keeps helping me push through and learn more and understand more and grow :) I hope to become the very best God wants me to be! The MTC has been a truly amazing experience and as it is starting to come to an end I have to admit I am definitely going to miss this place. However I know that Heavenly Father needs me in Korea and I can't wait to get there and do whatever it is that he needs me to do! :)
Anyways I hope all is going well. Sorry I don't have a whole lot of time to email and every time I sit down to email I forget everything I wanted to tell everyone :) haha. Anyways I am looking forward to being able to call home on the 25th :) I hope I can hear from you all for a minute or two! :) I love you all so very much! :) Thank you for all the support you give me and the prayers :) I can feel them and they are definitely a big strength to me. I wouldn't be able to do this without all of you and the Lord :) 아주사랑합니다!!!!:) {Love you very much}

Hey so I finally got back on to the computer :) Holy cow it has been a crazy, yet exciting week! This past Wednesday we got a new bunch of Korean Speaking elders and sisters. It was really funny to see all their faces as we spoke Korean to them all. Gave me a little bit of a flash back into the past when I first got here and hardly knew anything. We have been busy trying to help them learn sentences and help them with Korean as they are all stressing to teach their first few investigators. But I can definitely feel the spirit working and it has actually been really cool how I have felt the spirit direct me in how to teach particular things that I priorly don't think that I even knew before :)

This week has been really cool, I think I pretty much have the MTC down. After being here for almost 8 weeks I am glad I finally have it all under control. haha. But it has been really cool. I have seen several people I know here including both Elder and Sister Idso, Elder Hendrickson, Elder Miller, Elder Meyers, Elder Anderson, and a bunch others. It is crazy to see how the MTC is growing and how everyone is coming in. The experience is awesome and I still feel like I am learning so much. But I am definitely at that point where I really want to just get to Korea :) For those who have served a mission you definitely know what I mean when you have reached that point where you just want to get out there and start sharing this amazing message with the world. It has blessed my life so much and has helped me grow so much that I just want everyone I come in contact to have the opportunity to hear about it and realize how much of a blessing it can be in their lives.
Elder Chow and I have been working hard to learn as much as we can and be as prepared as possible for when we get to Korea. I think the biggest hindrance at this point would just be the fact that I am not fluent with Korean :) But it is coming.
We have been having a ton of success in our lessons. It is amazing how even with such a little knowledge of the Korean language how the spirit can direct our thoughts and words to truly help those we have taught. We have had some amazing blessings as we have seen how the simple messages of the gospel can truly help all grow; whether they are all ready familiar with the gospel or not. A lot of times we try and fluff up lessons and doctrine and make it seem even more glorious and elaborate; however the truth is, the brilliance is in the simplicity. The wonderful blessings that come from the gospel and the doctrine of Christ are so special and so powerful in and of themselves. If we concentrate simply on looking every day at the many blessings that our Father in Heaven has given us we will realize just how amazing and blessed life is. We all get to grow and learn so much in such a short time it is truly amazing.
his past week I have been thinking alot about the savior and just how amazing he was. The many things he accomplished and did for each and every one of us in the short amount of time that he was here on this earth. He started out just like every one of us. As a baby. Innocent, weak, and completely dependent on his mother Mary to take care of him. He struggled through the same steps of learning and growing that all of us went through. He had to learn how to crawl, walk, speak and grow. He was not born running in his father's work. However because he did not sin and because he did his best and always gave his best he progressed and grew at a much faster rate than anyother human being. Because he was perfect in everything he did he learned lessons as a boy that could influence all manner of men and women at a young age. He came to a knowledge of his father in heaven at a young age and kept that realationship with his heavenly father dear to his heart. He always worked and served all those he came in contact with. Because he was perfect in everything he did, because he would not give in to the adversary he progressed far more than any man to ever come to the earth. And because he was perfect he was able to perform the infinite atonement that enables every living thing to overcome the progression impeding power of sin and return back to our heavenly father. Because Jesus Christ was 100% obedient to everything his heavenly father had told him he was able to save the souls of all those who have ever and will ever live. The one thing that really sticks out to me was his exact obedience. We know that we are sent here to earth to progress and grow to be able to return to live with our heavenly father and be like he is. The one thing that stops us is sin and the mistakes we make. Sin stops progression. That is why Satan works so hard every day to get us to make just a simple mistake. However if we work our hardest, remember Christ, let his infinite atonement influence our lives, and grow and overcome our sins we are able to continue to progress back to our heavenly father. Without the atonement, because we aren't perfect, we would not be able to continue progress. And the reason why Christ was able to grow and progress so fast through out his life was because he was perfect and didn't let sin hinder his progression. If we work our hardest every day to be exactly obedient to our heavenly father and his commandments and his gospel we will be able to continually progress and at a rate much faster than we are now. I know that as I am obedient to my Heavenly Father and work as hard as I can he blesses me and helps me to grow every day and has strengthened my testimony in ways I never thought possible. I know he lives. And I know he loves us all so very much. Because he loves us he wants us to continually progress so he sent his only begotten son to earth to suffer the pains for all mankind so that we could continually progress. He restored his gospel, through Joseph Smith, and gave us the necessary instruction to continually progress through Christs name. It is called the gospel of Christ. Through this gospel we can come to a knowledge that God lives, that his son truly did suffer for us, and that he has provided a way for us to return to live with him. I know that we can read the Book of Mormon, another testament that Christ lived and lives and that God truly loves us, and grow to come of a knowledge for ourselves that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored, and that the necessary keys and priesthood required to perform ordinances, that are needed in order for us to be able to be cleansed of all our mistakes and return to live with God the Father, have been restored. I know we can know of this for ourselves and we can feel of God's Love for each of us. I am so very grateful for all the blessings our Heavenly Father has given us. I know the gospel is true and that Christ is our savior. I am so grateful for all he has done for me. I love you all and I hope you can feel the truthfulness and power that comes from this message. And I hope that if you don't already know for yourselves, that you will be able to come to a knowledge of these things for youself. I love you, Jesus Christ loves you, and your Father in Heaven loves you. May you always remember this. I hope you think of the many blessings in your life and thank God for each one.
I truly am grateful for all of you and the wonderful influence you have played on my life! If you ever need anything let me know.
Love,
Elder Bigler
